“He has ideas for the Good of the People” — PDP chieftain speaks on Peter Obi
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Ulasi, has said Nigerians would be filled with hope for the country if they pay attention to discussions involving former presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Ulasi made the remarks on Thursday during an appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show, where he disclosed details of a recent private engagement with the former Labour Party presidential candidate.
He said Obi, whom he has known since his tenure as National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), visited him at his residence in Enugu State about four days ago, where they held what he described as a “brilliant discussion” on national issues and political strategy.
According to him, Obi frequently visits whenever he is in Enugu and has called on him about four times this year alone.
Ulasi explained that Obi had earlier addressed students in the Coal City before stopping by his residence, where he also interacted with some of his associates.
He noted that their discussions focused on improving Obi’s political engagements and national outreach.
“If you listen to Peter Obi talk, you will have hope for this country,” Ulasi said, adding that the former presidential candidate demonstrates a clear understanding of governance and development priorities.
He further confirmed the frequent interactions between them, describing Obi as someone actively engaged in consultations across the country.
