NYSC unveils date for 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation exercise

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course will begin across the country on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the three-week orientation programme will take place simultaneously in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the statement, the exercise will run from August 5 to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The NYSC also disclosed that call-up numbers have already been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective corps members, while call-up letters will be made available in due course.

Prospective corps members were advised to regularly check their dashboards for updates and further instructions ahead of the commencement of the orientation exercise.

The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch B Stream II service year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, qualifying them for national service.

Nafiu also wished the prospective corps members a safe journey to their respective orientation camps, urging them to avoid travelling at night.

He further advised them to strictly adhere to all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the camps.

The statement reads, “The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) wishes to inform the general public that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream Il Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in all Orientation Camps within the country.

“The three-week exercise which will be held simultaneously in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will end on Tuesday, 25th August, 2026. Accordingly, Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course.

“The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulates all prospective Corps Members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I| Service Year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, which has qualified them for national service.
