BREAKING: Atiku chooses ADC as fresh platform for 2027 bid, picks membership card

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has formally joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC, the coalition-backed party he is expected to work with ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Atiku made his new political move public on Monday through his X account, where he shared a photo holding his ADC membership card with the short caption, “It’s official.”
His decision comes months after he resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in July due to the long-standing internal crisis that weakened the party’s structure and unity.
More to come.
