Europa League: AC Milan draws Sunderland, Bournemouth (Full fixtures)

Sunderland will face seven-time European champions AC Milan in the Europa League this season as they return to European football for the first time since 1973.

The Black Cats, who finished seventh in the Premier League last season, will travel to Italy to meet Milan at the San Siro as part of their eight league-phase matches.

Bournemouth have also been drawn against AC Milan but will host the Italian giants on home soil.

The Cherries are set to make their first appearance in European competition and will also face Spanish club Real Sociedad in the league phase.

Crystal Palace, who won the Conference League last season, have been handed fixtures against Lyon, Real Sociedad and Besiktas.

Scottish champions Celtic, who dropped into the Europa League after surrendering a four-goal advantage against LASK in their Champions League play-off, will face Marseille, Benfica and Besiktas.

In the Conference League, Brighton will meet Monaco and Getafe, while Hearts will also face Monaco and travel to Turkey to play Mohamed Salah’s former club Trabzonspor.

Bournemouth: AC Milan (home), Real Sociedad (away), Viktoria Plzen (home), Sparta Praha (away), Sturm Graz (home), Celta Vigo (away), Hapoel Be’er Sheva (home), Lillestrom (away).

Crystal Palace: Real Sociedad (home), Lyon (away), Sparta Praha (home), Salzburg (away), Lech Poznan (home), Jagiellonia (away), Hoffenheim (home), Besiktas (away).

Celtic: Marseille (home), Benfica (away), Ferencvaros (home), Union SG (away), Celta Vigo (home), Omonia (away), Besiktas (home), Torreense (away).

Conference League fixtures

Brighton: Monaco (home), Panathinaikos (away), Craiova (home), Getafe (away), Kauno Zalgiris (home), Jablonec (away).

Hearts: Monaco (home), Pafos (away), Borac (home), Trabzonspor (away), Nordsjaelland (home), Thun (away).
