2027: APC National Secretary Basiru visits Adeleke in Osun
The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, on Sunday met with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as discussions continue ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Basiru disclosed that the meeting focused on efforts to secure Osun State for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
According to the APC National Secretary, Governor Adeleke assured him of his commitment to working towards achieving the goal of delivering the state for Tinubu.
The meeting comes amid growing political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He added that the visit was also to congratulate the governor on his victory at the polls and thank him for attending the burial of his late mother.
“On a congratulatory visit to His Excellency, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his victory at the polls, and to specially appreciate him for his visit during the burial of my late mother.
“We also discussed how to deliver Osun for Mr. President, as promised by Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the 2027 presidential election,” he said.
