BREAKING: Fubara signs 2026 Rivers appropriation bill into law

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill into law following its passage by the State House of Assembly.
The Assembly passed the bill on Thursday after making adjustments to the fiscal documents.
The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, presented the bill to Governor Fubara at the Government House for his assent.
The signing brings the 2026 budget into effect, paving the way for its implementation across the state.
