Ancelotti visits Real Madrid camp ahead of Betis clash
Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti returned to the club’s training ground at Valdebebas ahead of their LaLiga meeting with Real Betis on Saturday.
Ancelotti, who currently manages Brazil, used the visit to reconnect with former colleagues and check on the condition of Real Madrid’s Brazilian players.
The veteran coach also took photographs with several members of the squad, including current manager Jose Mourinho and some of the club’s new signings, such as Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella.
Ancelotti enjoyed a successful spell at Real Madrid, winning several major trophies during his time in charge before taking over as Brazil’s head coach.
The Italian took advantage of a few days off to return to Madrid and attend a training session with his former team.
Ancelotti spent time talking with his former players and also Mourinho.
He will announce his squad for Brazil’s upcoming games next week.
