Barcelona thrash Real Madrid 3-2 to retain Spanish Super Cup

Barcelona retained the Spanish Super Cup with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Raphinha scored twice for the Catalans, while Robert Lewandowski also found the net, helping Barcelona overcome Xabi Alonso’s side for a record-extending 16th title.

The win came despite a late red card for Frenkie de Jong.
