Four opposition lawmakers decamp to APC
Four members of the House of Representatives have left their parties to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Inuwa Garuba of Yamaltu/Deba, Abdullahi El-Rasheed of Dakku/Nafada, and Mohammed Audu of Karim Lamido/Lau/Ardo-Kola, all from Gombe State, moved from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
Obika Chinedu, who represents Abuja Municipal/Bwari in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), left the Labour Party (LP) to join the APC.
These moves increase the APC’s strength in the House ahead of upcoming political contests.
Adewale Adebayo, who represents Irepodun/Olorunda/Osogbo/Orolu federal constituency of Osun state, formally joined Accord from the PDP.
