Oyo court upholds PDP 2025 Ibadan convention, recognizes Turaki-led NWC

An Oyo State High Court in Ibadan has validated the 2025 election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held in the city on November 14 and 15, 2025.
Justice Ladiran Akintola of Court 5 delivered the judgment on Friday after considering an application for joinder.
The court granted all 13 reliefs sought by the claimant, Folahan Malomo Adelabi, through his lawyer, Musbau Adetunmbi.
The judgement validates the emergence of the Dr Taminu Turaki-led National Working Committee that emerged at the Convention.
