BREAKING: Tinubu picks 2027 presidential nomination form as APC opens sales for aspirants
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially obtained the nomination form to seek re-election in the 2027 presidential race.
The President, represented by Hon. James Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, picked up the form shortly after the All Progressives Congress (APC) opened the sale of nomination forms for aspirants seeking the party’s ticket.
Tinubu was reported to be the first aspirant to secure the presidential nomination form on Tuesday, marking the formal start of the party’s internal race ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The form was issued after the payment of ₦100 million, in line with the party’s prescribed fees for presidential aspirants.
It was presented to Faleke by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
With this development, the President has formally joined the list of aspirants jostling for the ruling party’s ticket, as political activities begin to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 polls.
