APC members flood ward centres for NASS primaries in Osun
Members of the All Progressives Congress on Saturday stormed various political wards across Osun State to participate in the party’s House of Representatives primaries.
The exercise commenced around noon across the 30 local government areas of the state, with supporters of different aspirants waiting for members of the primary committee to arrive for the conduct of the election.
At the Ward 3 Apoun collation centre in Osogbo, party members were seen queuing behind their preferred aspirants ahead of the exercise.
At Ward 8 in Olorunda, local government party members were waiting for the committee members to arrive for the exercise to take off.
Meanwhile, APC youth leader in Ward 8, Kehinde Lawal, assured that the exercise will be peaceful despite raising tension between supporters of Ibrahim Taofeek and Afees Durojaiye.
“Once the committee gets to the venue, the exercise will take off, and I can assure you that it will be peaceful,” he said.
