Katsina Assembly Speaker secures APC senatorial ticket

The Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Daura, has emerged winner of the ruling All Progressives Congress senatorial primary election in Katsina State.
Daura defeated his closest rival, Ahmed Kabir, during Monday’s APC primary election for the Daura senatorial zone.
Daura zone comprises 12 Local Government Areas: Baure, Bindawa, Daura, Dutsi, Ingawa, Kankia, Kusada, Mai’Adua, Mani, Mashi, Sandamu, and Zango.
