Panic as one-storey building under construction collapses in Sokoto

A one-storey building under construction collapsed on Wednesday along Bauchi Road in Sokoto metropolis, triggering concern among residents and passersby.
The incident occurred less than an hour before this report was filed, with the cause of the collapse yet to be determined.
As of press time, it was unclear whether anyone was trapped, injured, or killed in the incident.
Emergency responders and relevant authorities had not released an official statement, while efforts to gather more information were ongoing.
Eyewitnesses said residents gathered at the scene as efforts were made to assess the situation.
