Godfrey Okoye University Teaching Hospital (GOUNITH), formerly known as Ntasi Obi Hospital, has announced recruitment for qualified candidates across several departments at its facility in Enugu State.
The teaching hospital is seeking professionals and support staff for positions spanning administration, human resources, finance, accounting, medical services, nursing, laboratory services, radiology, pathology, medical records and other healthcare-related fields.

Requirements
The hospital stated that applicants must possess the academic and professional qualifications relevant to their chosen positions.
Depending on the role, qualifications range from WAEC, OND and HND to bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and relevant professional certifications.
Applicants for regulated healthcare positions are required to have appropriate professional registration and valid practising licences where applicable.
Other general requirements include relevant post-qualification experience, professional competence, good interpersonal skills, integrity, the ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and ICT proficiency.
For example, applicants for nursing positions are expected to possess a B.NSc, current registration and practising licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, as well as relevant years of experience.
Medical Laboratory Scientist positions require a BMLS, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and current registration/practising licence, while radiography positions require relevant qualifications, registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria and applicable licences.
Some administrative and support positions require considerably less experience, with certain roles accepting OND or secondary school qualifications.
