Transcorp Hilton Abuja has officially ushered in the 2025 holiday season with its much-anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, marking the beginning of a month-long celebration filled with elegance, warmth and festive cheer.

The annual event attracted hotel guests, families, members of the diplomatic community, corporate partners, as well as lifestyle influencers and members of the media in Abuja.

Guests were welcomed into a beautifully decorated fountain area, transformed for the season with sparkling lights and festive décor.

Speaking at the event, the General Manager of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Martin Zarybnicky, expressed appreciation to guests, partners and the wider Abuja community for their continued support.

He described the festive season as a special period for reconnecting and sharing joyful moments.

“This season is one we truly cherish, as it allows us to reconnect with our community and create shared moments of joy.”

“We are thrilled to welcome both local residents and international travelers to celebrate with us,” Zarybnicky said.

The evening was enlivened by a captivating performance from the Abuja Metropolitan Music Society (AMEMUSO) Choir, whose renditions of classic Christmas carols created a warm and uplifting atmosphere.

Guests enjoyed refreshments while soaking in the familiar melodies of the season, followed by a special collaborative performance with Slum2Stage that added a heartfelt and inspiring touch to the celebration.

The highlight of the ceremony was the lighting of the towering Christmas tree, officiated by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Uzo Oshogwe, alongside the General Manager, Martin Zarybnicky, the Mandate Secretary of the FCT Women Affairs Secretariat, Mrs. Dayo Benjamins-Laniyi, and a group of excited children. The moment symbolised hope, unity and the joy that defines the festive season.

In the spirit of celebration, Transcorp Hilton Abuja also unveiled a range of exclusive festive offerings designed to create memorable holiday experiences for families, couples and solo travellers.

The hotel announced special holiday room packages running from December 19, 2025 to January 4, 2026, offering guests discounted rates and the opportunity to enjoy luxury hospitality in the heart of the nation’s capital.
