2026 WCQ Playoff: Chelle unveils 24-man Super Eagles squad ahead of Gabon clash (Full list)

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced a 24-man squad for Nigeria’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff encounter against Gabon.

Leading the attack are Victor Osimhen and Tolu Arokodare, while goalkeeper Maduka Okoye makes a notable return to the team.

The latest call-up also features the comeback of several key players who missed the October international window, including defenders Bright Osayi-Samuel and Chidozie Awaziem, midfielder Raphael Onyedika, and Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke.

Nigeria remains firmly in the hunt for a place at the 2026 World Cup after finishing second in Group C of the African qualifiers, securing progression as one of the best runners-up.

The Super Eagles will face the Panthers of Gabon in the first semi-final on Thursday, November 13, at the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat, Morocco.

The winner will battle either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final on Sunday, November 16, at the same venue.
