Shortly after the event, tensions appeared to escalate online. Toyin Abraham reportedly unfollowed Funke Akindele on Instagram and expressed her displeasure, stating she would no longer extend greetings to her colleague following the incident.
In a now-deleted comment, she wrote: “I have unfollowed her, God forbid bad thing. If I ever greet her again, that means I am a bastard.”
Akindele also reciprocated by unfollowing Abraham, further fueling speculation of a renewed rift between the two stars.
