Drama as Funke Akindele ignores Toyin Abraham at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere
A moment involving Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham at the premiere of Return of Arinzo has stirred conversations across Nollywood circles and social media.
The event, hosted by Iyabo Ojo, drew several prominent figures in the industry. Toyin Abraham reportedly arrived shortly before the screening began and greeted colleagues at her table, including Funke Akindele.
However, a noticeable reaction rom Akindele suggested she did not acknowledge the greeting, maintaining a composed but distant expression, a moment that has since fueled online discussions.
Despite the moment, Toyin Abraham went on to exchange pleasantries with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe, who responded warmly.
Shortly after the event, tensions appeared to escalate online. Toyin Abraham reportedly unfollowed Funke Akindele on Instagram and expressed her displeasure, stating she would no longer extend greetings to her colleague following the incident.
In a now-deleted comment, she wrote: “I have unfollowed her, God forbid bad thing. If I ever greet her again, that means I am a bastard.”
Akindele also reciprocated by unfollowing Abraham, further fueling speculation of a renewed rift between the two stars.
The now-viral moment between the duo adds to the growing conversation about their relationship.
The alleged feud between Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham stems from long-term industry competition, fueled by fans and gossip.
