BREAKING: Enugu comes to a halt as NLC begins protest over insecurity

The Nigeria Labour Congress, Enugu State chapter, has kicked off its planned protest against rising insecurity across the country.
The demonstration, which started on Tuesday, was led by the state NLC chairman, Comrade Fabian Nwigbo.
Addressing workers and other participants, Nwigbo expressed deep concern over the worsening security situation in Nigeria, saying it has continued to threaten the lives and property of citizens.
He urged the government at all levels to take urgent and decisive steps to address the problem.
According to him, Nigerians deserve to live and work in a safe environment, stressing that the protest was aimed at drawing the attention of authorities to the daily fears faced by ordinary people due to insecurity.
