Sanusi Bala Turaki, also known as the King of the Horses of Maituta, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent bandit attack in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State, which claimed lives and left several others injured and displaced.

In a condolence message, Turaki described the incident as tragic and deeply painful, noting that it has thrown the entire community into mourning and uncertainty.

He lamented the killing of innocent residents, describing them as “servants of God whose lives were unjustly taken in a brutal and merciless attack.”

According to him, the tragedy is not just a loss to the affected families but to the entire community and the state at large.

Turaki prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims, asking God to grant them eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi and to comfort their grieving families with strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.

He also called for unity among residents, urging communities to come together in prayer and collective efforts to confront the persistent insecurity affecting parts of the state and the country.

“In this difficult moment, we must remain united, strengthen our faith, and support one another. By God’s grace, peace will return to Zamfara and Nigeria at large,” he said.
