I have been summoned by EFCC – Ex-AGF Malami
Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has confirmed that he has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Malami disclosed this in a statement posted on his official Facebook page, noting that he is prepared to honour the invitation as a responsible citizen.
“This is to confirm that I have been invited by the EFCC,” he wrote.
“As a law-abiding and patriotic citizen, I reaffirm my commitment to honour the invitation. I understand the importance of accountability and transparency in public service, principles that I have always advocated and championed.”
Malami added that he is willing to keep Nigerians informed as events unfold, stressing that his decision is rooted in his belief in public service, transparency and accountability.
“I am committed to sharing with the Nigerian public the developments as they unfold,” he said.
