The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the second batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released before midnight on Saturday.

JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a post on his official X handle.

According to him, candidates who sat for the examination on Friday, April 17, 2026, should expect their results later in the day.

“The results of the UTME conducted on Friday, 17 April 2026, will be released before midnight today,” Benjamin stated.

He added that an official announcement would be made immediately after the results are released, while updates would also be shared on his social media page.

The development comes after JAMB earlier released the first batch of results for candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, with 632,788 candidates reportedly able to access their scores.

The 2026 UTME, which commenced nationwide on Thursday, is expected to accommodate more than two million candidates across accredited Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.
