Kwankwaso arrives Port Harcourt ahead of 2027 election
Rabi’u Kwankwaso, vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2027 general elections, has arrived in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Kwankwaso arrived in the South-South state on Wednesday for a series of strategic engagements ahead of the 2027 polls.
The OK Movement announced his arrival in a statement shared on its verified X handle.
“The Vice Presidential Candidate of the NDC, His Excellency, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has arrived in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for a series of strategic engagements.
“The OK Movement is delighted to welcome and receive His Excellency as he continues his engagements with the people.
“Together, we remain committed to building bridges, strengthening unity, and mobilising Nigerians towards a better future. Nigeria Will Be OK,” the Movement tweeted.
The visit is coming after the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, hosted Kwankwaso at the Obidient Movement headquarters in Abuja.
Very Nigerian reports that the duo left the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the NDC in May, citing internal divisions and court cases.
