Late Actress Allwell Ademola to be laid to rest January 9
The family of late actress Allwell Ademola has announced her burial arrangements, one week after her sudden death.
In a statement that has gone viral online, the family disclosed that the actress will be laid to rest at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos State, on Friday, January 9, 2026.
According to the arrangements, a service of songs, candlelight procession and artiste night will take place a day earlier, on Thursday, January 8, at LTV8, Lagos.
The event is scheduled to hold between 4pm and 11pm, as family, friends and colleagues gather to honour the memory of the late actress.
Very Nigerian reports that the movie director died from a heart attack on December 27, 2025 at the age of 49.
Her death came as a rude shock to her loved ones and the public, with her colleagues including Iyabo Ojo, Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Biola Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Toyin Abraham taking to social media to mourn her.
