The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, has dismissed reports of an impending nationwide electricity tariff increase, insisting that the Federal Government has no plans to raise electricity charges across the country.
Tegbe’s clarification comes amid persistent reports suggesting that electricity consumers should expect another increase in tariffs.
The minister maintained that the government has no intention of implementing a nationwide tariff hike, offering reassurance to electricity consumers concerned about the possibility of higher bills.
