The National Youth Service Corps has announced Thursday, May 21, 2026, as the official date for the passing-out parade of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members across the country.
The disclosure was made in a statement issued on Monday by the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and shared on its official X handle.
According to the statement, activities leading up to the event will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
These include Job Advisory and Counselling organised by the NYSC alongside other relevant agencies, as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
It added, “The low-key event will feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps Members in all the Local Government Areas of the country.”
The Director-General of the scheme, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, wished the corps members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He also urged them to allow the core values of the scheme to guide them in their post-service relationships as good ambassadors of the NYSC.
This announcement marks the final phase of the one-year mandatory national service for the Stream Two corps members who were deployed in 2025.
