Ozekhome visits former President Obasanjo (Photos)
Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, on Wednesday shared photos of himself with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The pictures, which he posted on his X page, formerly known as Twitter, show Ozekhome standing beside the ex-president.
In the images, Obasanjo is seen wearing a blue traditional outfit with a matching cap, while Ozekhome is dressed in a cream-coloured native attire.
“Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, CON, OFR, cooling off with former president Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, PhD, tonight. God is awesome indeed,” the SAN said.
The post comes amid criminal charges filed by the federal government against Ozekhome over an alleged forgery linked to a UK property dispute.
The attorney-general of the federation (AGF) has taken over prosecution of the case, which centres on documents allegedly used in proceedings related to the property.
Ozekhome is yet to take a plea in court.
Obasanjo, a former military head of state and two-term civilian president, is one of Nigeria’s most influential figures.
