The Police Service Commission (PSC) has released the names of successful applicants recruited into the Nigeria Police Force as part of the ongoing exercise to enlist 50,000 new officers.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Head of Protocol and Public Relations of the Commission, Torty Njoku Kalu.

According to the PSC, the release followed the successful conclusion of a comprehensive, inclusive, equitable and transparent recruitment exercise conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, state Career and Counselling Departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee.

The Commission advised all candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination to log in to the official recruitment portal, npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to check their recruitment status.

It disclosed that the portal would be accessible from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

The PSC further stated that successful applicants would also receive notifications through the email addresses and phone numbers they provided during the application process.

According to the Commission, successful candidates are expected to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates and times that will be communicated later for medical examination and documentation.
