Rivers APC ward suspends chieftain Fubara over alleged anti-party activities
The Ward 4 leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State has announced the suspension of a party member, Fubara Dagogo, over alleged misconduct.
The decision was reached by members of the ward executive committee during a meeting held on March 16, 2026.
Chairman of Ward 4 in Bonny, Richard Ibani, who read the resolution, said the suspension was based on allegations of gross misconduct, anti-party activities and other related offences.
According to him, the decision has been formally communicated to the Bonny Local Government APC executive, with copies also sent to the Rivers State chapter of the party.
The ward executives accused Dagogo of breaching the party’s constitution, engaging in actions capable of bringing the party into disrepute, and disregarding established party rules and directives.
They further alleged that he made statements considered disrespectful to party leaders both within and outside the state.
The communiqué stated that the alleged offences contravene provisions of Article 21.2 (I), (II) and (VII) of the APC Constitution (2022 as amended).
