Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his participation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

The briefing took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, shortly before President Tinubu departed for a state visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

Shettima had represented Nigeria at the annual global economic summit, where he engaged world leaders, policymakers and business executives on issues bordering on economic growth, global cooperation and investment opportunities.

Sources at the State House said the Vice President updated the President on key discussions held at the forum, as well as Nigeria’s engagements with international partners during the event.

President Tinubu is scheduled to hold high-level bilateral talks in Türkiye aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and the European-Asian nation.
