Tinubu, APC bigwigs attend National Convention in Abuja
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday arrived at Eagle Square to headline the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention, drawing a large gathering of party leaders and stakeholders.
The high-profile event saw the presence of Vice President Kashim Shettima and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, alongside key figures in the National Assembly, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
Also present was former APC National Chairman, Bisi Akande, as well as the party’s current National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda.
Among the governors in attendance were AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who also serves as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), and Hope Uzodimma, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF).
The convention has attracted a wide spectrum of APC stakeholders from across the country, reflecting the party’s efforts to consolidate its structure and strengthen unity ahead of future political engagements.
