‘Wike Must Go’ – NLC, FCTA staff stage protest at Industrial Court (Photos)

Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) protested at the National Industrial Court in Abuja on Monday.

The demonstration is part of a total and indefinite strike that has continued over unresolved labour issues.

The protest was held following a directive from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), which expressed full support for the strike.

The NLC said the industrial action was justified, citing what it described as ongoing violations of workers’ rights by the FCTA management and political leadership.

Placards carried by the protesters bore inscriptions such as “Wike must go!!”, “Abuja no be Rivers”, “Pay promotion arrears”, “Enough is Enough” and “No working tools.
