2027: APM to inaugurate Oyo presidential, governorship campaign council July 31st
Oyo State Governor and the Allied People’s Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, is set to inaugurate the party’s Oyo State Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council on Friday.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, the inauguration will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The statement said, “The Executive Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, Nureni Adeniran, will serve as both the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and the Director-General of the state Governorship Campaign Council.
“Other members include Saheed Arowosaye, former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, as Deputy State Coordinator, APM 2027 Presidential Campaign
Hon Demola Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, as Deputy Director-General (South).
“Dr Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Director-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts, respectively. Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director, Women’s Wing. Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant (Youth) to Governor Makinde, as Director, Youth Wing.
“Additional members of the campaign structure will be announced in due course.”
