2027: Kebbi ADC appoints ex-deputy speaker Sani Tadurga campaign DG
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Kebbi State, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has appointed former Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sani Tadurga, as Director-General of the party’s Kebbi State Campaign Council.
The appointment was announced in a circular issued by the party to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday night.
According to the statement, the decision followed consultations with key stakeholders and leaders of the ADC in the state.
Tadurga is expected to coordinate the party’s campaign activities in Kebbi ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The campaign council will also have three Deputy Directors-General, with each representing one of the state’s three senatorial districts.
They are Arch. Bala Sani Kangiwa, Deputy Director-General for Kebbi North; Hon. Shehu Aliyu Sambawa, Deputy Director-General for Kebbi Central; and Alh. Aliyu Jibrin Bagaruwa, Deputy Director-General for Kebbi South.
The party also appointed Barr. Aminu Bunza as Secretary of the Kebbi State Campaign Council.
According to the ADC, the appointments are aimed at building a strong, inclusive and effective campaign structure across the state.
The party said the appointees were selected based on their experience, leadership capacity and grassroots knowledge, which it expects will contribute to advancing its campaign and strengthening its support base across Kebbi.
The ADC congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity and commitment to the success of the party and the aspirations of the people of Kebbi State.
