Ekiti 2026: Oyebanji dominates polling unit, secures 326 of 333 votes in Ekiti West
Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship election, has secured victory at his polling unit in Ekiti West Local Government Area.
Results from Polling Unit 003, Oyebanji’s Compound, RA 04, showed that the governor polled 326 votes out of the 333 accredited voters at the unit.
The polling unit has a total of 668 registered voters.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) scored 2 votes, Action Democratic Party (ADP) 1 vote, and African Action Congress (AAC) 1 vote.
Three votes were voided while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) did not score any votes.
Speaking after casting his vote on Saturday, Oyebanji described the turnout as impressive and the exercise peaceful, despite recording about 49.9% turnout at the unit.
