Bellingham shines as England knock Haaland’s Norway out of World Cup, qualify for semifinals
England have booked their place in the FIFA World Cup semifinals after defeating Erling Haaland’s Norway, with Jude Bellingham delivering a match-winning performance by scoring twice.
Bellingham’s brace took his tournament tally to four goals, helping England complete a comeback after Norway had taken the lead.
Andreas Schjelderup opened the scoring for Norway in the 36th minute before Bellingham restored parity later in the match. England went on to seal victory and eliminate the Norwegians from the tournament.
England will now face the winner of the quarterfinal between Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, and Switzerland in the semifinals.
