The Osun State Governor and candidate of the Accord Party, Ademola Adeleke, has secured victory in his first polling unit in the ongoing governorship election.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Accord Party the winner at Polling Unit 026, Ward 5, in Osogbo Local Government Area of the state.
The Accord Party polled 57 votes, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC), which recorded 43 votes at the polling unit.
Very Nigerian reports that results from polling units across the state have started trickling in.
Although there are reports of intimidation, vote buying and other electoral violence, the election has been going on successfully in many parts of the state.
