BREAKING: INEC declares Ademola Adeleke winner of Osun 2026 Gubernatorial election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Mr Salaam, after results from all 30 local government areas were declared.
According to the results announced by INEC:
🟢 Accord – Ademola Adeleke: 511,067 votes
🔵 APC – Bola Oyebamiji: 444,815 votes
🟠 ADC – Najeem Salaam: 17,180 votes
The declaration brings an end to the keenly contested election, which had witnessed intense campaigns and political realignments in the days leading to the poll.
Adeleke’s victory means he will continue as Governor of Osun State for another term.
