2027: INEC publishes final list of presidential, national assembly candidates (Full list)

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates for the presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for January 2027.

The list contains presidential candidates from 18 political parties, alongside their running mates for the election.

The document, signed by the Secretary of the Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, shows that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be represented by President Bola Tinubu, 74, with Vice President Kashim Shettima, 59, as his running mate.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is fielding former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, 79, as its presidential candidate. His running mate is former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, 61.
