Money laundering: Former AGF Malami, son, plead not guilty

Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, and another individual have pleaded not guilty to a 16-count charge of alleged money laundering.

The defendants appeared before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, facing accusations of unlawful acquisition and concealment of funds.

The case will proceed as the court considers the evidence and sets further dates for trial.

The trial is set to continue as the court considers the charges.
