Large crowds gathered in Kaduna on Friday to welcome former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following an incident he reportedly faced at the airport on Thursday.
In a video seen by our correspondent, many supporters filled major roads across the city as they accompanied the former governor’s convoy on his way to the Jummat Mosque for prayers.
The footage captured excited residents cheering, waving, and chanting as his motorcade moved slowly through the crowd. The warm reception showed that El-Rufai still enjoys strong backing from many people in the state.
Observers noted the unusually large turnout, signaling strong public interest in his visit.
