NAUTH Nursing students stage protest over tuition hike (Photos)

Students of the College of Nursing at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi took to the streets on Tuesday to protest a sudden increase in tuition fees.
In videos circulating on social media, the students were seen chanting and holding placards to show their anger over the fee hike. Some of the chants included, “We no go gree, reduce the school fees, we no go gree,” as they marched through the campus expressing their dissatisfaction.
The College of Nursing is affiliated with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, one of the major tertiary healthcare institutions in Anambra State.


As of the time of the protest, there had been no official response from the management of the institution regarding the students’ demands.
