Adamawa 2027: Modibbo Tukur named ADC governorship candidate, replaces Omar Suleiman

Very Nigerian has confirmed that Modibbo Hamma Tukur has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Adamawa State election, replacing Omar Suleiman.
Sources familiar with the development told Very Nigerian that Omar Suleiman, who is aligned with former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has been replaced by Modibbo Tukur, an ally of the ADC’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
An official announcement from the party is expected shortly.
