The All Progressives Congress has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, adjusting timelines for screening, primaries, appeals, and other internal processes, while also publishing designated bank accounts for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms.

The notice, issued on Monday from the party’s National Secretariat, Buhari House, Abuja, was signed by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, and separately confirmed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The party stated that the revised schedule aligns with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended), the Electoral Act 2026, and the timetable issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the timetable, the sale of forms will run from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while submission of completed forms will close on May 4, 2026.

Screening of aspirants is scheduled for May 6 to May 9, 2026, covering State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential aspirants in phases.

The party added that screening appeals for State House of Assembly and House of Representatives aspirants will hold from May 12 to May 13, 2026.

Primary elections are set to commence on May 15, 2026, beginning with the House of Representatives, followed by Senate, State Houses of Assembly, governorship, and presidential primaries, concluding on May 23, 2026.

The APC also released the cost of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms across different positions.

For State House of Assembly, aspirants are to pay ₦1 million for Expression of Interest and ₦5 million for Nomination. House of Representatives forms cost ₦1 million and ₦9 million respectively, while Senate aspirants are to pay ₦3 million and ₦17 million.

Governorship aspirants will pay ₦10 million for Expression of Interest and ₦40 million for Nomination, while presidential aspirants are required to pay ₦30 million and ₦70 million respectively.

The party stated that female aspirants, youths, and persons living with disabilities will only pay for the Expression of Interest forms and 50 per cent of the Nomination fees.

It directed that all payments be made into designated party accounts, listing Union Bank Plc (0239691733), UBA Plc (1025098328), and Zenith Bank Plc (1014008105) as official channels.

The revised timetable comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections, with the APC stating that the adjustments are aimed at ensuring smoother internal processes and better coordination of its nationwide primaries.
