Amaechi joins youth protest for electronic transmission of election results

Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has joined the ongoing protest calling for the real-time transmission of election results.

The demonstration, tagged “Occupy National Assembly,” saw Nigerian youths gather in Abuja on Monday to express their opposition to the Senate’s rejection of electronic transmission of election outcomes.

The former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi also joined the protest yesterday.
