Arteta extends Arsenal stay with new contract until 2030
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Premier League club until June 2030.
The club confirmed the new agreement, extending Arteta’s long-term commitment to the Gunners after weeks of reports that both parties were close to reaching a fresh deal.
Arteta’s new contract is expected to provide continuity as Arsenal continue their push for success under the Spanish manager.
Key members of his backroom staff will also remain at the Emirates Stadium as part of the new arrangement, ensuring stability within the club’s coaching structure.
Arteta took charge of Arsenal in December 2019 and has since overseen the club’s development into a regular contender for major honours.
The new deal means he is set to remain in charge of the north London club for several more seasons as Arsenal continue to build under his leadership.
In a post by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X on Wednesday, “Mikel Arteta signs new deal at Arsenal until June 2030, club confirms.”
The agreement reported in recent weeks has now been validated and confirmed by AFC.
Arteta has transformed Arsenal into regular contenders at the top end of the Premier League and guided the club to the FA Cup in 2020.
The Spaniard has also overseen the club’s return to the UEFA Champions League and has continued to build a squad capable of competing for major honours.
With the new agreement running until 2030, Arteta is set to remain at the helm as Arsenal continue their pursuit of domestic and European success.
The contract extension provides further stability for the club as Arteta and his coaching staff look to build on the progress made during his tenure.
