BREAKING: Gov Bala, Makinde meet NDC national leader Seriake Dickson behind closed doors in Bauchi
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde are currently holding a meeting with Senator Seriake Dickson in Bauchi.
The purpose of the meeting has not been officially disclosed, but sources suggest it may relate to preparations for the 2027 general elections.
According to reports by DAILY POST, Bala Mohammed and Makinde, currently the only remaining governors in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are reportedly considering resigning from the party. The decision is said to stem from the ongoing leadership crisis within the opposition party.
Senator Seriake Dickson, who represents the Bayelsa West Senatorial District, recently launched a new political party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), which may be central to discussions with the two governors.
