BREAKING: Gov. Fubara appoints new SSG, Chief of Staff

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has approved the appointment of Dr. Dagogo S.A. Wokoma as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Barrister Sunny Ewule as Chief of Staff (COS), with immediate effect.
The appointments were announced ahead of their formal inauguration scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2026.
According to the state government, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Port Harcourt.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the governor to strengthen governance and enhance administrative coordination in the state.
Both Dr. Wokoma and Barrister Ewule are expected to assume their duties immediately after taking the oath of office.
