BREAKING: Reps drops own State Police bill, backs Tinubu’s proposal

The decision effectively suspends consideration of the House’s initial bill, with lawmakers now focusing on the Executive proposal.

The Executive bill is expected to undergo detailed scrutiny at the committee stage, where its key provisions will be examined before it is returned to the floor for further legislative consideration.
